Dr. Lorne Lee performs on the unique 12-string touch-style guitar. Having spent years developing a signature soul music sound on the instrument, he instantly captivates audiences whenever he takes the stage.
Dr. Lee is a music educator, speaker, author, composer, and performer on trumpet, piano, and 12-string touch-style guitar, performing venues and colleges nationwide. As a professor at several universities, he has taught courses in Music Theory, Church Music, African-American Music, Composition, and Band. In addition to teaching, he has served as Summer School Director, Band Director, Instructional Designer, Instructor Trainer, Academic Counselor, and Chair of General Studies across nine colleges.
Dr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master of Music from Howard University, and a Doctor of Education from Governors State University.
